Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Denials Management
Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Research and resolve outstanding denials and complete necessary
follow-up in a timely manner
Identify denial trends and educate on steps to prevent future
denials
Initiate and manage insurance appeals promptly and manage
outstanding AR related to denials
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
4 years of experience in medical billing with exposure to denials,
appeals, and insurance collections
Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT-4 coding
Familiarity with insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) and
remittance codes
Solid skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
