Job Description:

A company is looking for a Senior Medical Director, Behavioral Health.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and clinical oversight for behavioral health services, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements
Design and manage innovative behavioral health programs while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance care coordination
Lead quality improvement initiatives to monitor clinical outcomes and member satisfaction within behavioral health services

Required Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) with an active, unrestricted medical license in Massachusetts and New Hampshire
Board Certification in Psychiatry
A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in managed care or a similar healthcare environment
A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in behavioral health/substance use disorder treatment
Strong understanding of healthcare policies and regulations related to behavioral health/substance use disorder
