Job SummaryProcess Tech II role is an operations position
responsible for our day-to-day operations. We are a 24/7 facility
operating 365 days a year. Our starting wage is $26.75/hr.
(Estimated $70K 1st year).

Job DescriptionTo meet ongoing
product demands, our Cedar Rapids facility is hiring Production
Operators.In this position you will be responsible for equipment
operation in one of our production areas. You will monitor the
equipment and production process to ensure we maximize our enzyme
manufacturing. This will involve working with our process control
system (Delta V), troubleshooting equipment, and interacting with
engineers to optimize the process.The position requires working a
12-hour alternate work schedule (AWS), including 2 weeks on day
shift and 2 weeks on night shift. The AWS schedule is a rotating
pattern that includes working 7 of 14 days, and every other
weekend. There is a generous shift differential when working nights
and scheduled premium pay.Job Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- A.A./B.S. or a related degree in a scientific or technical
field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a mechanical or industrial plant
environment
- Demonstrated mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Computer experience with MS Office suite
- Dedicated team player with an ability to function in a
multidisciplinary environment
- Ability to lift 55 poundsWork Environment
- We require production operators to be clean shaven to meet the
requirements of fit testing for respirator use
- Employees will occasionally work in dusty environments or with
materials which release particulates into the air around them
- Employees may occasionally be required to work outside
including all elements of typical Iowa weather
- Employees will occasionally be required to ascend stairs,
ladders, and work at heightsPre-employment drug screen and
