Job Description:
A company is looking for an American Sign Language Language
Expert.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate communication between English users and sign language
users, including ASL
Provide access to classroom instruction and communication for
individuals who are deaf, hard of hearing, or deafblind
Assist individuals in developing self-advocacy skills and fostering
independence
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in ASL Interpretation or a related field
Minimum 1 year of experience in academic environments
Proficiency in American Sign Language and English-based sign
systems
Availability for freelance contract work until the end of May
Preference for candidates based in Columbia, South Carolina
