Job Title: X-ray Technologist Specialty: Radiology Place of Work (City/State): Iowa City, Iowa License/Certifications: Valid and current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Start Date: April 1st Fulltime: $90K per year Benefits: 10 Paid offs Federal Holidays 401K Medical Insurance including Dental & Vision Shift Schedule: Shifts may vary between 7:00 am - 3:30 pm or 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. Responsibilities: Conduct X-ray imaging examinations on patients as per physician orders and established protocols. Operate and maintain X-ray equipment to ensure accurate and high-quality images. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to obtain necessary patient information and ensure proper diagnostic results. Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions to ensure optimal image quality and patient comfort. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including radiation protection measures for patients and staff. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of X-ray procedures and patient information. Stay updated on advancements in X-ray technology and participate in ongoing education and training. Requirements: Successful completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Current and valid ARRT certification for X-ray. Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Two years experience as an X-ray Technologist preferred.
