Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Senior Director - Early
Development in the Obesity therapeutic area, responsible for
scientific leadership in pre-clinical and early clinical
programs.
Key Responsibilities
Provide scientific and medical direction for early phase clinical
development of obesity compounds
Mentor Medical Directors and Early Development Leaders on study
design and execution
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and advance
obesity programs
Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
5 years of clinical research and/or basic science research
experience
5 years of managerial experience managing teams or projects
Clinical training/expertise in metabolic diseases, preferably in
endocrinology
5 years of clinical trial/drug development experience in obesity or
related areas
