Quality Engineering Assistance. This individual will be responsible
for ensuring compliance of Manufactured Electronics Assemblies to
Industry leading manufacturing Standards, Facilitation of AS9102
FAI processes, and coordination of Audit Activities in our world
class Electronics Manufacturing Facility. This Position will assist
in improving inspection mentorship, ensuring highest levels of
process compliance, and assist the manufacturing teams with early
identification of potential quality concerns. Job Description:
Qualifying Inspection personnel and
maintaining inspection stamp databaseEnsure inspection processes to
internal and external Standards is followedMentorship of shop floor
inspectorsCompletion of First Article Inspections (FAI) in
compliance with AS9102Daily production floor support Assisting
Quality Engineers with projects, investigations, root
cause/corrective actions etc.
Ensure process compliance to Internal
and external standards such as: AS9100/ISO9001:2015 and NSS
Workmanship Manual for Electronic Assemblies(or industry equivalent
IPC/JSTD), Military StandardsInteracts with Engineering, Quality
Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to communicate and resolve
issues identified from inspection.
Because of the need for consistent,
in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work
onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be
performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on
location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time. Required

High School Diploma or
equivalentAbility to communicate with management, peers and touch
labor within the company.Ability to read and interpret Engineering
DrawingsUse of inspection equipment (e.g., microscopes, calipers,
gauges etc)Possess effective written and verbal skillsProficient in
Microsoft Office products.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
1-2+ years of experienceInspection of
circuit card and sub assembly experienceUnderstanding of Solder
Acceptance Criteria (NSS Workmanship Standards, IPC or

structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a
